Warranty Information

Statutory Rights. Our products come with rights and remedies under applicable Canadian federal and provincial consumer protection legislation, as well as implied conditions and warranties under provincial sale of goods legislation. Nothing in this warranty is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify those rights, which vary by province and territory and cannot be waived where prohibited by law. In Québec, nothing in this warranty limits the legal warranty of quality under the Civil Code of Québec or the Consumer Protection Act (Québec).

Limited Warranty. Arbortech provides a 12-month limited warranty on the motor and/or mechanism of its products, beginning on the date of original purchase. This warranty covers mechanical and electrical components against defects in workmanship and/or materials. It does not cover consumable items such as belts, blades, blade bolts, brushes, brush arms, and dust boots.

This warranty does not apply where:

  • Unauthorized repairs have been carried out
  • Repairs are required due to normal wear and tear
  • There is evidence of misuse, unauthorized alterations, or improper maintenance
  • The product has not been used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions or specifications provided with the product

Except for the express warranty stated above, the statutory rights described above, and the terms of the Operator’s Instruction Manual, Arbortech makes no other warranties or representations regarding the quality or performance of the product, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Making a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, return the faulty product to Arbortech with your receipt within the warranty period. Arbortech will repair or replace the product, or provide a refund, as appropriate in the circumstances and in accordance with applicable law.
