Technique

Record the original joint profiles, mortar mix and stone condition — the repair has to match the fabric, not the other way around.
Step 2
Follow the original joint lines with the Heritage Set, taking out only failed material and keeping vibration to a minimum.
Step 3
Rebuild with matched lime mortar and stone, strike joints to the original profile and document the work for the next custodian.
